The reform may bring benefits to the economy in the long term, but in the short-medium time it will bring more work and hurdles for Brazilian companies, who will have to handle both old and news systems until then, she explains.
“A very important point that we are bringing to the attention of multinational groups is that is not yet time to speak about reducing headcount in the tax area of Brazilian companies, clarifying that, until 2032, companies will need more people to handle all the necessary tax obligations”, says Ana.
