Our partner Ana Cláudia Utumi took part yesterday (October 29) in the 76th Congress of the International Fiscal Association (IFA), which is being held in Cape Town, South Africa, from October 27 to 31.

Ana took part in the WIN (Women of IFA Network) seminar, which discussed the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the tax area. The panel was made up of Yuri Matsubara (Japan), Aisha Aize Isa (Nigeria), Maria Volanen (Finland), and Sahel Assar (USA).

The panel discussed the integration of advanced technologies such as AI, generative AI, blockchain, process automation and big data into tax management. Global perspectives from Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Americas and Africa were presented, highlighting innovative applications in tax compliance, tax risk management, tax administration and tax consulting.
