Partner Camila Tapias has been practicing in the tax field since 2001, with extensive experience in federal, state, and municipal tax litigation—both in administrative and judicial proceedings—advising domestic and international clients across a wide range of industries, including individuals and family-owned businesses. She worked for 17 years at one of the largest full-service law firms in the country, where she became a partner in 2013.
Coordinator of Tax Reform for the Special Committee on Tax Law at the Brazilian Bar Association, São Paulo Chapter (OAB/SP). Coordinator of the Tax Committee at IBRADEMP—the Brazilian Institute of Business Law. Guest lecturer in continuing education and graduate programs. She is the co-author of several publications, including *Our Tax Reform* (2025), “Tax Reform by Women” (2025), “Reflections on Tax Reform” (2024), “Dual VAT” (2024), and “Estate and Succession Planning: Family, Succession, and Taxation” (2024).
She is recognized as one of Brazil’s leading tax lawyers by national and international publications such as The Legal 500, Latin Lawyer 250, Leaders League, Best Lawyers, LACCA Approved, ITR World Tax, Análise Advocacia, and Euromoney Expert Guides. She was a finalist for Euromoney’s “Women in Corporate Law” award (Rising Star Tax) in 2014.
