The 10th Conference of the Brazilian Association of Tax Lawyers (ABAT) will take place from May 6 to 8, an event in which our partners Ana Cláudia Utumi and Camila Tapias will participate.
On May 7, Camila will speak during the panel “Administrative litigation within the IBS framework, discussed by women in tax law: from the nature of the acts performed by the Management Committee to the limits of its power to define the applicable law within the scope of administrative tax litigation” on CARF, the CBS, and the new adjudication paradigms for 2027, alongside Tânia Gurgel, Robson Maia Lins, Raquel Novais, Renata Correia Cubas, and Letícia Tourinho Dantas.
On the same day, at 8:00 p.m., there will also be the launch of the book “Legal Studies – A Tribute to the 90th Anniversary of the São Paulo Tax and Fees Court (TIT/SP),” of which Camila is one of the co-authors.
On May 8, Ana will participate in the Brazil Panel during the “International Panel: Brazil vs. the U.S. and Europe: International Tariff and Tax Relations between Brazil, the U.S., and Europe—Treaties, Reciprocity, and Criteria for Stabilizing Supervening Situations”, alongside Carla Tredici Christiano, André Mendes Moreira, Leandro Paulsen, and Ana Carolina Monguilod.
