RI magazine has published an article authored by our partner Ana Cláudia Utumi in its commemorative edition of the 25th anniversary of the Brazilian Institute for Investor Relations (IBRI).

Entitled “Double Taxation US-Brazil: possible effects on Companies and cross border business”, the text was part of the “APIMEC” Section in the magazine.

“If double taxation effectively comes into force in 2023, it is likely that companies will have to consider in their balance sheets an increase in costs and expenses with business conducted with American companies, whose income is subject to Brazilian withholding tax,” comments Ana in the text.
