Our partner Ana Cláudia Akie Utumi participated as a debater in an event that discussed the impacts in Brazil of the conclusions and recommendations of the FACTI Report (High Level Panel on International Financial Accountability, Transparency and Integrity), developed by the United Nations based on the report on “Financial Integrity for Sustainable Development”. The event, which took place on April 15, brought, according to Ana Cláudia, “valuable recommendations that should be taken into account by the Brazilian government at all levels”.

The panel was organized by #UN #FACTI Advisor Tatiana Falcão, WIN Brazil – Women of IFA Network Co-Chairs Ana Carolina Monguilod and Flavia Cavalcanti, and ABDF Financial Law Director Danielle Calirman Brigagão.

It counted with moderation by FACTI panel member and Assistant Secretary General of CARICOM Secretariat Manorma Soeknandan, speakers OECD – OECD Head of Secretariat at the Global Forum on Transparency and Exchange of Information for Tax Purposes Zayda Manatta, Supreme Court Aide Nina Pencak, Global Alliance for Tax Justice Member Grazielle Custódio David, and debaters Glaucia Lauletta Frascino, partner at Mattos Filho, Veiga Filho, Marrey Jr. e Quiroga Advogados, and Raquel Novais, partner at Machado, Meyer, Sendacz e Opice Advogados s6s
