Our partner Ana Cláudia Utumi took part in the 49th meeting of the Senate Committee on Economic Affairs (CAE), which discussed the impacts of the tax reform on differentiated and specific regimes.
Ana spoke about the right to credit for purchasers, pointing out some revisions that she believes are necessary in the final text of the tax reform.
The tax reform regulations (PLP 68/2024) detail the rules for unifying taxes on consumption, the cases of reduced tax incidence and rules for returning the amount paid, known as cashback.
