Our partner Ana Cláudia Utumi will be a guest lecturer at the Accounting and Taxation Course, organized by the Brazilian Association of Financial Law (ABDF), the Brazilian branch of the International Fiscal Association (IFA).
Alongside Professor Diego Miguita, Ana will discuss taxation of business combinations. Raphael Furtado will be the debater in such class.
The course will address the interaction between Accounting and Tax Law, by examining the following aspects: introduction of the IFRS standards in Brazil, income recognition regime, expenses, provisions, assets and liabilities, (re)valuation of assets, business combinations, taxation on profit, fixed assets rules, among other topics.
