On August 1st and 2nd, our partners Ana Cláudia Utumi and Camila Tapias will be taking part in the ACONCARF Itinerante project, which is being held in São Paulo by the Brazilian Association of Financial Law (ABDF). The event covers the workings of the Tax Appeals Board (CARF) and tax discussions.
Camila takes part in a panel on August 1 that discusses tax transactions alongside João Henrique Chauffaille Grognet, José Renato Pereira de Deus, Mariana Cardoso Martins, Marcelo José Luz de Macedo and Juliana Furtado Costa Araújo.
Ana is also taking part in a panel discussion on 2/8 on international taxation. Participating in the discussion are Luciana Vilardi Vieira de Souza Mifano, Marcelo Magalhães Peixoto, Ana Carolina Monguilod, Bruna Camargo Ferrari and Luís Flávio Neto.
The ACONCARF Itinerante project aims to showcase, throughout the country, the interface between CARF and the most relevant issues in tax law today, bringing together professionals in the field, academics and counselors, always seeking to adapt the topics under discussion to regional realities.
The event takes place at the Pontifical Catholic University (PUC) of São Paulo and is exclusively in person.
