Valor Econômico spoke to our partner Ana Cláudia Utumi about the normative instruction for the incentivized self-regularization program for federal taxes that the Federal Revenue Service expects to release on 26/12.
The program is regulated by Law 14.740 and allows taxpayers to confess debts and settle them without fines and interest. With this, the government’s expectation is to strengthen tax collection, reports the article. Adherence to the program will begin on January 2.
Ana and other experts heard by the report said that companies are interested in joining. “There are some issues of judicial defeats for which we have discussed with companies the possibility of paying in this self-regularization program,” she said.
