Retirees with serious illnesses can get income tax exemption

Our partner Camila Abrunhosa Tapias talked to InfoMoney | IM+ explaining how retired taxpayers and those with serious #illnesses listed in the Law can benefit from the #exemption from Income Tax.

According to her, only the amounts received by retirees or pensioners as retirement or pension will be tax exempt. This exemption is also valid for complementary private #previdentia, as long as the person is already retired.

Any other amount that the retiree receives will be taxed normally. Income other than retirement, such as rent and work, will continue to pay income tax.
