Our partners Ana Cláudia Utumi and Camila Tapias are instructors for the 5th class of the extension course “Wealth Planning: Family, Assets, and Taxation,” offered by the São Paulo Association of Tax Studies (Apet).
On April 13, during the inaugural class, Ana will discuss the first steps in estate and succession planning, seeking to explain the importance of planning. On May 4, Camila, alongside Renato Faria, will lead a class on the Inheritance and Gift Tax (ITCMD). Together, they will discuss the general rules for the tax’s application, the impacts of the Tax Reform, and structures for tax-efficient estate planning.
The course takes a hybrid approach, beginning with classes that introduce concepts and the interpretation of civil legal norms, followed by classes featuring discussions on business topics and various tax issues, aiming to delve deeper into the subject of taxation in estate and succession planning.
Classes are held online from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays, from April 13 to May 27.
