Tomorrow, March 18, our partner Camila Tapias is taking part in the launch event for the book she co-authored, “Our tax reform: analysis of EC 132/23, PLP 68/2024 (CBS/IBS) and PLP 108/2024 (Management Committee, IBS Litigation, ITCMD and ITBI)”, published by FGV Direito SP.

Camila published the article “Inspection and administrative litigation in the light of complementary bills 50, 68 and 108/24”, which aims to briefly analyze the implications of these PLPs, with a close look at the challenges and opportunities that arise in the field of inspection and administrative litigation of the new taxes. 

The collective work makes a comprehensive and critical analysis of Constitutional Amendment 132/23 and PLPs 68/2024 and 108/2024. It discusses in detail the implementation of CBS and IBS, addressing the role of the Management Committee, tax litigation mechanisms and the impacts on ITCMD and ITBI taxes. It also delves into the practical and institutional challenges of the reform, proposing solutions for a more efficient and transparent tax administration.

The launch event will take place at the Federal Senate Library in Brasília (DF), starting at 7pm.
