On August 26, at 2pm Brazilian time, will be held the 1st Women in Taxation meeting, at which our partner Camila Abrunhosa Tapias will be a speaker.

Camila will address the international taxation topic and the event will debate other relevant issues such as tax planning in the view of the Administrative Council of Tax Appeals (CARF), tax burden in Brazil and the impacts on a multinational, taxation on new technologies, among others.

The Women in Taxation project aims to bring more women into the tax area and empower those who are already working.

The 1st meeting will be attended by Ana Carolina Brasil Vasques Vieira (project’s creator), Francine Fachinello Gasparetto (project’s  creator), Fernanda Nogueira (project’s supporter), Mariel Orsi (CARF counselor), Fernanda Carolina Neves Galinatti (accountant and tax manager at AMANCO), Luiza Leite (tax lawyer), and Thauanny Pereira (tax lawyer).
